Healthy Refreshing Pegaga Drink

In Asia, Pegaga or pennywort has long been known for its medicinal properties. The malays served it as ulam and eat raw or with sambal belancan. You may get more information on this herbal delights from Paul Penders.
The only place that I know that selling this herbal drink is at the famous cendol store around Penang road, Penang.

Preparation is simple

Just wash and clean one or two bundles of pegaga.
Blend the pegaga with some drinking water. Strain the juice with a sieve. Add honey or syrup to taste.
Serve it chilled or warm.

Friendly note: You may adjust the sweetness and how thick the juice accordingly.

This article is for communicative purposes and is not medical advise.  As with herbs it should be taken in moderation and not be taken continuously  for a long period of time.

Moist Lemon Sour Cream Cake

This cake is specially for those who love the aroma of lemon. It is best you double the amount on the ingredients otherwise the cake will turn out to be small and shorties like the one I have here. But this small cake is just nice for a small family like mine.

Cantaloupes(Honeydew) Ice Cream 哈蜜瓜冰淇淋

The ice cream is smooth and nice. But with a lousy camera man like me, the ice cream melts away while I trying to snap the photos ^_^

Cantaloupes is a type of honeydew in oblong shape and the fresh is in bright orange color and very tasty. It seems is in season now. Can easily buy from market and supermarkets.

The 1st ever ice cream that I tried to make was the Mocha Green Tea ice cream, the ice cream became icy and not smooth at all. 2nd attempt was even worse than the 1st attempt. I almost give up. Then, I came across this FB friend Lie Lai Kuen's ice cream, she made yummy ice cream with many varieties. Thank her so much for sharing the recipe. My children love this honeydew ice cream very much. you may find the original recipe here
