Tasty Marmite Spare Ribs 妈蜜排骨 (2)

I seldom prepare this dish as it is a very tedious chores.  The last time when this dish was served, my son was not around to enjoy it.  This time my son came back to Kuala Lumpur on 25 March, just to watch the FI race in Sepang, which I got the tickets at the main stand  from  my friend Hitomi.  TQ Hitomi!  Please do make it a habit!  hehehe...  I specially prepare the dish again for him and the rest of the family to enjoy!

Anyway, when came back for the late dinner on Sunday ,  he said "  Mom, the  Marmite Spare Ribs is awesome !   Huh!  That make me feel good  and forget  all the hardwork  and time  spend to prepare the dish in the kitchen!    Cheers  to me!

The Awesome Marmite Spare Ribs

I consider this is quite a time consuming dish to prepare, but the end result  worth the effort!   But again, there is no fix rule or steps in culinary, we can always plus and minus as we go along, the end result  -  TASTE is most important!

As for the recipe refer my previous post at  Marmite Spare Ribs

Beef with ginger and spring onion (姜葱牛肉)

Beef with ginger and spring onion (姜葱牛肉)-  A very common dish on most Asian  dinning table.  A dish worth to record down for the benefit for the new wife or mother to cook for the family to enjoy.

Most dishes that passed down from my late mother has no black and white record, but through memories,  and there is no fix amount of measurement of ingredients either by spoon or by weight, all are agak agak (estimate).  Whatever it is, with all the agak agak,  all dishes that my mom laid  on the dinning table are perfect and super delicious, even a simple fried egg or fish!  It's  the taste of Love!

Love these dish with lots of spring onion,  the meat is so tender and juicy, Yum Yum!

Lemon Curd Cheesecake (Unbaked) 柠檬奶油芝士蛋糕

Happy International Women Day -  March 8 2012.

Lemon Curd Cheesecake -  Either baked or unbaked is a hit for cheesecake lovers.

Yellow being one of my favorite color, just love the color combination of the cheesecake.   They look gorgeous, bright and lovely.  The only set back on the cake is the decoration of the cake.  Topping with cream and icing  are always weakest part of  my baking journey.  I'd never take the trouble to learn cake decoration, the reason simply I don't like cream on cakes. Plain is always the best!
The original recipe is from Kitchen's Corner and I have make some adjustment on my cake.
