There is so much to learn and need lot of improvement on food blogging be it the recipes, editing and photography are have to be 1st class, for me it is quite taxing will limited knowledge of modern technology.
I am not pretty, but I am sure is delicious!
Back to the Apple Crumble, adapted from Hong Kong TV show of Eating Well with Wong ( 吾淑吾食)
Ingredients
3 green apple
1 Fuji Apple
3 Tbsp Sugar
1tsp cinnamon Powder
1/4 tsp of salt ( I omitted)
1/2 cup of brown sugar
1/2 cup of rolled oats ( I used Nestum Whole grain oats)
1/3 cup plain flour
4 tbsp of chilled butter ( cut into cubes)
I added the following to give that extra aroma of lemon.
1 lemon zest
1 tbsp lemon juice
Method
- Grease the baking pan
- Clean and cut apples into slices
- Mix the apples with cinnamon powder and sugar, place in a aluminum container ( mine is 8 inches in diameter)
- Rub in and mix the flour, brown sugar, butter cubes, salt, lemon zest and lemon juice and oats. Place the mixture onto the apples mixture.
- Bake in preheat oven of 175°C for 1/2 hours or till done.
I added lemon juice and lemon zest to enhance the result.
