A very appetizing dish to start with a meal
Ingredients including carrot, coriander leaves, spring onion, small onion, bunga kantan, chilli and etc
Add on - Roast ground rice, sesame seeds, and roasted peanuts and etc.
Chanced upon this recipe when hubby and I were shopping at Mid Valley, Kuala Lumpur. A Thai Chef Mr. Korn was demonstrating the dish. I am glad to share the recipe with you here.
INGREDIENS:
1
cup sashimi Salmon
cut into small cubes
1/4
cup shallots, sliced
¼
cup mint leaves
1
tbsp chopped spring
onion
1
tbsp chopped
coriander
1
tbsp ground roasted
rice (I replaced with roasted peanuts, sesame seeds)
1
tsp roasted
chili powder
2
tbsp fish sauce
1½
tbsp lime juice
½
tsp sugar
- To prepare the dressing, mix fish sauce, lime juice, sugar and roasted chili powder in a bowl.
- Add salmon and combine with ground roasted rice, shallots, spring onion, mint leaves and coriander.
- Serves with raw vegetables: cucumber, carrot, cabbage and more up to your own choice.
Cooking Tips
Beside the above ingredients, I add chopped bunga kantan, roasted peanuts sesame seeds as my preference.
As for the dressing I add some Thai chilli sauce.
Add and minus the ingredients of your own liking but of course "Salmon" is a must!
