I will make every effort to bake any cakes (chiffon, cheese), pie, puff with green tea as one the ingredients! A fluffy and moist Green Tea Butter Cake, highly recommended to give it a go!

With minor amendments
Ingredients
270gm butter
250gm castor sugar ( I used 200 gm only)
1/4 tsp salt
4 eggs ( Size A)
Sieve together the following
240gm plain flour
10gm green tea powder
1 tsp baking powder
Method
Preheat over to 180ºC. Line 20cm (8inches) square pan with greaseproof paper.
Beat butter, sugar, salt until light and fluffy. Add in egg one at a time, beating well after each addition.

ReplyDeleteHi Pauline, this cake baked some time ago, since then I yet to bake for the 2nd time, can't recall the size of baking tin I am used. Probably is a 20cm round cake tin.
