Lemongrass, Lemon, Ginger, Honey (or sugar)
5-6 stalks of lemongrass use the white part only (smashed)
Juice of 1 lemon
1 knob of freshly grated ginger
8 cups of water
4 pandan leaves - knotted
Honey to taste
Thin slices of lemon for garnish
Directions
- In a pot bring water to a boil. Add lemongrass, pandan leaves and ginger, simmer gently for about 20 minutes.
- Add in Lemon juice.
- Strain and stir in honey to taste.
- Garnish with lemon slices.
- Serve hot
- Or another option for serving is to chill thoroughly and serve on ice with thin slices of lemon slices.
