The dish goes best with rice, porridge, fried mee hoon or fried noodle!
Adapted from Chef Margaret Cheng for the simplest recipe! I made some alteration from the original recipe where only using anchovies with the chillies. I have make some amendments.
The Lingham's Chili Sauce that does the trick!
Inspiration from Chef Margaret Cheng of Spastic Centre, Petaling Jaya!
Ingredients
Handful of anchovies (washed and drained just before frying)
Few sausages (sliced)
some curry leaves
1 big onion (sliced)
1 big onion (sliced)
Lingham's Chilli Sauce ( amount depend on how spicy you want)
Method
Heat some oil in the wok fry the anchovies till crispy add in the big onion continue to stir fry till onion turn slightly transparent. Add in sausages, curry leaves and Lingham's chilli sauce continue to stir fry till aromatic. Dish out and serve.
Or you prefer the more easy version, just fry the anchovies with oil till crispy, then pour in the Lingam's chilli sauce and mixed well and the dish is done!
