My end product of the chocolate cake looks moist and more appealing! Don't you agree? ^_^
I had baked similar cake before but it is not as good as this. At the glace of the above photo, its doesn't look appealing to try out the recipe. I decided to give a go after going through the ingredients and method.
Wowo.... Its simple and easy woh, that suit me perfectly well! hehe.... The result is more that I expected. Youngest daughter just love the cake so much, Even hubby does not like chocolate cake gave me a thumb up too! Victory!
Original recipe from Dessert's Temptation - Wendy's Delights!
I double the ingredients, the original cake is to small.
Ingredients
150g cooking chocolate
80gm butter
3 egg whites
3 egg yolks
30 gm sugar
Method
- Melt butter and chocolat4e in a bowl over simmering water. Leave it to cool
- Add egg yolks and mix well.
- In a separate bowl, beat egg whites and sugar together until soft peaks form. Fold half of the egg white mixture into the chocolate mixture. Stir gently. fold in the rest of the egg white mixture
- spoon into greased cake tin. Bake at 180ºC for 25-30 minutes
- Serve.
