Braised Fermented Reddish Beancurd Ribs 南乳排骨

Another fingers licking goooood dish! The preparation is so simple and easy suit perfectly for lazy mama like me! Interesting?

You need (Recipe adapted from Y3K Recipes)

600 gm spare-ribs (chopped into pieces) 排骨 - 斩块
3 pips garlic - minced 蒜末
400ml water 清水

Marinade 腌料
1 cube fermented reddish beancurd or nam yee 南乳1块
1/2 tbsp dark sauce 半汤匙 黑酱油
1 tbsp oyster sauce 1 汤匙蚝油
1 tbsp sesame oil 1 汤匙麻油
1 tbsp sour plum sauce 1汤匙酸梅酱


  1. Coat ribs with marinade for one hour.
  2. Heat 2 tbsp of oil in the wok, saute garlic till golden. Add in marinaded ribs and water. Cook ribs for 30 minutes till sauce has dried up.
  3. Serve hot with rice.
